Please read through our procedures around the programme so you aware of our commitment to the safety of your child and what we require from the parents/caregivers.
- Please remain on site for the duration of the programme, we ask that no child is left unattended.
- Once your child is on the turf they will remain there until the conclusion of the programme.
- If your child requires the bathroom then we ask that a parent/caregiver takes them, and returns them to the turf.
- Your child will not be able to leave the facilities at the end of programme without an adult.
- The other turfs (at both Napier and Hastings venues) will be in use during the time of the Funsticks program. Please make sure any other children at the facility are visible to you and not on the turfs
What to Bring
- Sunhat
- Drink bottle
- Safety equipment – Shin guards and mouth guard.
If your child does not have a stick, one will be provided for them. These must be returned each week.
Please make sure all equipment is named.
Unison have once again come onboard as junior sport sponsors and have provided HB Hockey with a sports bag, mouth guard and drink bottle for all Funsticks players in 2024. These will be available for you to take away at the first session. Mouthguards will not be molded for your child, but you will be able to take these for the start of the session if required.
Note: If your child is sick, please stay home. You are not required to let us know if your child id sick
